My New Year’s Resolution

December 28th, 2011

As we approach 2012 I want to share with you a couple of my New Year’s resolutions.

First: Stop the Obama/Pelosi pro-poverty agenda that is destroying jobs in Arkansas. I pledge to do all that I can to put a new leader in the White House.

Second: I will use my real life experience in Washington to fight for all of us. It is your turn to have a Congressman who understands what it takes to raise a family, educate our children and run a business. I know what it takes because just like you I’ve been living here in Arkansas raising a family, and making a living.

The challenges facing our nation demands that Arkansas send someone with the real world experiences necessary to fight “the business as usual D.C. politics.” The crisis facing our nation requires more than just another out of touch politician who believes talk is a substitute for results. Saving our children’s and grandchildren’s future requires more than smiles and cheerleading. These types of politicians are too busy protecting their political future to risk making the hard choices necessary to protect our children’s future.

I believe it is time we send someone to Washington who has the real world experience necessary to know the right choices and the toughness necessary to make the right choices. I have that experience and I have that toughness, and I’m willing to take the political risk to do what is right because our nation’s future is more important than any one person’s political career.

My experiences as a Marine Infantry Officer, football coach and successful small business owner have taught me how to fight and how to win. My credentials separate me from the others in the Congressional field, but the choice is yours. You can send the same “Old Career Politician Want-a-be’s”, and hope for the best, or you can send me someone who will always put your interests not special interests first.

I look forward to meeting you on the campaign trail in 2012. I encourage you to join our team and support me in the Republican primary in May. God Bless.
